Lebanon, the sitting duck

This is a map of the Israeli attack on Lebanon from 15-21st of July. I think the IDF and IAF thought that Lebanon was the Swiss Cheese of the Middle East, not the Switzerland of the Middle East. Its really, really a shame!
And now the IDF warned that for every rocket launched on Haifa, 10 buildings will be bombed into thin air in southern Beirut. Its as if we have to pay for their inneficiency in stopping the rockets hitting northern Israel. Really, what a shame...

inefficiency? how is anyone supposed to stop rockets from coming into their country? no country has this technology not even the USA. the way to do it is by eliminating the people firing them. --- "The Lebanese were working on national dialogue to find a solution and a way to implement [UN Resolution] 1559 [which calls for Hezbollah's disarmament] --- The way to do this is by outlawing it and if they refuse to disarm, citizens and MP take up your own arms and kill them yourself and ask UN or US forced to assist you in helping to wipe them out. That is how America did things in 1776 with the French and how every other normal country handles it.

Can't have it both ways. You can't say "Israel is illegal attacking our country" and also say "We can't control Hezbollah". That would be like Israel saying "Israel isn't attacking Lebanon, the IDF is. Sure we fund the IDF and they have a bunch of people from our country in the army, but we can't control them." It is total BS.

This is a little game to gain international sympathy. If the Muslim states thought they could defeat Israel, they would try to invade like in '67 and '73. But they got their butts kicked by a tiny little country with no oil or many natural resources. So now all the mighty proud Muslim armys can do is act like little cowards, hiding behind women and children and playing to international sympathy and hatred of Jews. Where is your powerful, almighty Allah now?

I guarantee you that if Israel was never attacked again, they would never respond. They just want to live in peace.

Perhaps if the IDF hit an Iranian Oil tanker for every Hezbollah Rocket fired it would cut off the munitions and money from Tehran pretty quickly eh??

Inefficiency? You have an entirely understated grasp of what has been happening in Lebanon. I can have no sympathy for a country that harbors a terrorist organization like Hezbollah. Do you think that if Russia had a terrorist organization inside China that was lobbing rockets over the border that Russia stand by idly and do nothing? Ha! Russia would have already had ground forces in China. Oh, it is inefficiency to some extent. But, it is more the inefficiency and stupidity of the Lebanese government. How do Lebanese stupidly sit by and watch their country become a wasteland and all because they were too grossly inefficient to take complete control of their own country? Yeah, Lebanon. Keep allowing special interests to dictate policy in your own country. Countries like Syria and Iran? They could care less. They will sit by and watch your country get gutted. All in the name of Islam! What a shame! What a travesty! Lebanonese leaders are just as much to blame for the Israeli bombs dropping on their cities. I hope Israel razes some of your cities to the ground. Maybe then you will learn a lesson about regional politics.

oh great, brilliant minds are finally talking:
"america did it like this, and now it is good, all normal countries act like america...blablabla"
"if you want freedom pay the price...blablabla"
"better hundreds die now than millions later.."

how comes you know what is right and decide who should pay the price? arguing about war by repeating silly phrases just shows how arrogant and self centered you are. there are innocent people dying, and you have nothing better to say?

sure, everybody in lebanon is supporting the bad guys and has a rocket in the backyard.

oh wow, you are right, there is no better solution than war. they have dangerous bad rockets, we have to destroy them with our cute little honey bombs before they can do any harm...

A democraty do not act like "terrorists" as israel is currently doing (killing innocent people because of a few fools).
If she do, she will lost any respect she had (see USA).

A democraty would try to find out why some people are playing nuts.
And a democraty would try to solve the problem with a better life for these people, not drop bombs.

But I don't expect you guys will understand this. It seems that you have no idee what democratie is.

According to my own definition of democraty, even here in Europe there isn't any. But I guess that some more people do unterstand it here.

USA, Israel and Alqaeda:
What a combination. As I have been watching the news it is quite clear the 3 mentioned above are in it together. They use the same tactics. They kill innocent people, they bomb the UN and.....................
Now we can say it is all a show for grabing oil, natural resources and land.
